Khidikari Village is a resort village located just four kilometers from the city of Ambrolauri in the Racha region. It's famous for its healing mineral and sulfur waters, which have been used to treat various diseases.

Things to See

The village is home to several historical monuments, including the 10th-century St. George Hall Church and the ruins of a late medieval tower once owned by the local nobles, the Tsulukidzes. The most impressive sight is Khidikari's medieval fortress, situated between cliffs in the Rioni Valley, which once protected the residence of the Racha nobles.

Nature and Wellness

The village's mineral and sulfur waters have been known to treat diseases of the musculoskeletal, circulatory, and nervous system. Visitors can also enjoy passive climatotherapy and mineral water baths to treat pneumonia and other diseases of the airways.
