Marneuli

Things to See

The area is renowned for its archaeological discoveries, including clay wine vessels and grape seeds that date back 8,000 years. These findings have led scientists to conclude that wild vines were first domesticated in this region, marking the beginning of wine production.

In addition to these ancient settlements, Marneuli is also home to interesting monuments from the Middle Ages, such as Tsofi Castle, Khujabi Monastery, and Tsirakvi Monastery.

Nature
