Getting to Gudauri

Gudauri is easily accessible from Tbilisi, with the journey taking around 2 hours by car. The drive is exceptionally picturesque, passing by the impressive Zhinvali Reservoir and the small village of Pasanauri, where you can stop to try some authentic khinkali.

Things to See and Do

Gudauri offers a range of activities for visitors, including skiing, snowboarding, and heli-skiing. The resort has 20 slopes, divided into four European difficulty classes, and 18 working ski lifts. You can also take a cable car to the top of the mountain for stunning views, or visit the nearby town of Stepantsminda, with its iconic Gergeti Sameba Trinity Church.

In the summer, Gudauri offers paragliding, biking, and hiking opportunities, with well-marked trails and stunning scenery. You can also visit the snow park, which operates in the winter months.
